Made in Greece. 90% Cotton 10% Metallic Thread. Background fabric is an airy cotton more reminiscent of a lightwight linen. Black background with gold metallic thread throughout. Gorgeous greek fret pattern at back, with repeating double headed eagles down the front and at the sleeves. The double headed eagle is said to represent the physical plane and the spiritual plane or power and justice. There are also floral and lyre motifs throughout. Round, split neckline. Wide, 3/4 sleeves. Slits at both side seams. Maxi length. From the closet of someone associated with Gumps of San Francisco. Excellent condition, I don't believe this has ever been worn.
